Summit House Recovery

All prospective residents must meet the following criteria to be considered for admission: 

1. Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old. 
2. Commitment to Recovery: Must express a sincere desire and willingness to engage in a recovery–focused lifestyle and abide by house rules. 
3. Substance Use Status: Must be free from alcohol and illicit substances for a minimum of 72 hours prior to admission, unless otherwise approved by the intake coordinator. 
4. Medical & Mental Health Stability: Must not require medical detoxification at the time of intake. Must not exhibit behaviors that pose a direct threat to the safety of themselves or others. Individuals with co–occurring mental health disorders must provide documentation of current treatment and/or medication management. 
5. Legal Status: Must not have any outstanding warrants. Individuals with a history of violent offenses or sex offenses will be reviewed on a case–by–case basis. 
6. Financial Responsibility: Must demonstrate the ability to pay required fees and/or provide an alternative payment arrangement. 
7. Program Compatibility: Must agree to adhere to all house rules, including participation in recovery–based activities, curfew compliance, and engagement with support systems. 
8. Interview & Assessment: Must complete an intake interview to assess readiness and suitability for the program.
