Structured Environment for Success

We maintain clear house rules, regular accountability meetings, and recovery-focused activities that help residents develop healthy routines and essential life skills for long-term sobriety. Our structured approach includes:

  • Daily and weekly schedules that promote responsibility and time management
  • Regular house meetings where residents can voice concerns and celebrate victories
  • Mandatory participation in recovery programs tailored to individual needs
  • Graduated independence as residents demonstrate progress and commitment

This structure creates the foundation necessary for rebuilding lives affected by addiction. Studies indicate that individuals in structured sober living environments are twice as likely to remain employed and significantly less likely to face legal issues compared to those in unstructured recovery settings.

Seamless Transition to Independent Living

We bridge the critical gap between intensive treatment and fully independent living—often the most vulnerable period in recovery. Our transitional approach provides:

  • Gradually decreasing supervision as residents demonstrate responsibility
  • Assistance with employment searches and educational opportunities
  • Support in rebuilding family relationships damaged by addiction
  • Help securing permanent housing before program completion
  • Connection to community resources for continued support

This measured transition prevents the “cliff effect” many experience when leaving treatment, significantly reducing relapse risk during this crucial period.

Common Questions About Sober Living

How long can I stay at Summit House Recovery?

Most residents stay between 3-12 months, though there’s no strict time limit. Your length of stay depends on individual needs and progress in recovery.

Monthly fees range from $750-$1,200 depending on location and room type. This includes housing, utilities, internet, and house supplies.

While many residents come directly from treatment programs, it’s not required. We accept individuals committed to sobriety who can demonstrate at least 14 days of continuous sobriety before move-in.
